CIFAL Honolulu Centre is part of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). It is the 21st international training and research centre of the CIFAL Global Network and the only centre located in the Pacific Region.

CIFAL Honolulu Centre will educate and empower current and future Pacific peoples through inclusive knowledge-sharing and action in order to make values-based decisions in service to sustainable development in our communities.

Sustainable Development Goals

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as an urgent call to action to end poverty and other deprivations that go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth—all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.
