Environmental Sciences Mission Statement

Students seeking a major in Environmental Science will be prepared to become future environmental scientists within a liberal arts framework. The major prepares students who will pursue environmental careers and contribute new data to increase understanding and amelioration of the challenges, causes and consequences of the human relationship to the natural world. Students will discover a wide variety of scientific environmental careers, agencies and post-graduate study available today.
